Rotary Club of Los Angeles Gives $10k to BMCF in support of Foster Youth

The Rotary Club of Los Angeles (LA5) has awarded a $10,000 grant to the Biddy Mason Charitable Foundation to support mentoring and case management services for current and former foster youth across Los Angeles County. This generous contribution will help strengthen BMCF’s wraparound support network, ensuring that members of the foster care community receive the guidance and help they need to thrive.

Founded in 1909, Rotary LA5 is one of the oldest and most active service clubs in Los Angeles, with a long tradition of community impact. Its members lend their expertise, time, and money to support local and international humanitarian projects that address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

LA5’s support of the Biddy Mason Charitable Foundation aligns with the organization’s goals to “improve the quality of life for people in their communities and to serve the public interest.”

“We are so grateful to the Rotary Club of Los Angeles for this transformative gift,” said Jackie Broxton, president and CEO of the Biddy Mason Charitable Foundation. “This grant directly enhances our ability to connect foster youth with meaningful relationships and resources they need to navigate life during and after foster care.”
